📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted partner to Optiv’s clients • Combine sales skills and broad security practitioner knowledge to design security solutions for assigned clients • Focus primarily on Threat Exposure Management, with additional expertise across related cybersecurity domains • Drive generation services and technologies business to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quota objectives with account teams • Understand clients’ security environments, business operations, security needs, and risk appetites • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities, qualify leads, manage proposals, and follow opportunities through closure • Articulate how Optiv’s technology and services portfolio meets client stakeholder needs • Facilitate thought leadership, analysis, guidance, and security strategy discussions • Collaborate with service delivery and internal Optiv teams to align client expectations and ensure delivery excellence • Design complete security programs, including requirements gathering, technology selection, demonstrations, and evaluations • Maintain advisory relationships with client stakeholders and working relationships with technology partners • Participate in account planning, forecasting, pipeline management, proposal management, contracts, and RFI/RFP responses • Pursue ongoing technical, security-specific, and professional development

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA or equivalent and/or applicable work experience • Minimum of five (5) years in an information security role focused on Threat Management, preferably as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer • Expertise in Application Security Tools, Vulnerability Management, Threat Management / Hunting, Enterprise Incident Management, Forensics / eDiscovery, Threat Intelligence Platforms, and Asset Management • CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, GIAC or other relevant professional cybersecurity certifications preferred • Experience speaking and evangelizing technology vision at events • Thorough understanding of the current threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and defensive controls • Strong business and technical acumen and ability to lead technology-focused discussions • Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills to clients, including whiteboard sessions and other presentation mechanisms • Strong attention to detail for reviewing statements of work (SOWs), quotes, and client deliverables • Broad security-related knowledge and continuous expansion of expertise across the portfolio • Vendor-specific certification(s) focused primarily on the specialty • Ability to travel around 25% or as needed • Ability to hold a government-sponsored Secret Clearance
