• Engage healthcare providers through in-person, virtual, and digital tools • Provide expertise on products and their approved conditions • Conduct proactive outreach to HCPs regarding product access, on-label information, and established patient care guidance • Serve as the primary point of contact for HCP customers • Direct customers to Customer Service Specialists and other colleagues as needed • Ensure customer requests are met and solicit feedback on engagement quality • Facilitate speaker programs • Organize local provider groups to discuss experiences and outcomes with local/regional leaders • Elevate opportunities, feedback, and local market insights to the Area Business Lead • Coordinate with Medical, Market Access, and Patient Support colleagues under appropriate guidelines • Collaborate compliantly with the ecosystem team to adjust targeting and call point plans • Use customer-facing insights to inform local strategy and business goals • Track progress and uncover opportunities using competitive data and business reports, including sales data and promotional budgets • Educate office staff on payer guidelines and reimbursement procedures to increase pull-through • Deliver balanced office calls and sales presentations using approved materials and technical references to help HCPs enhance patient outcomes
• At least one of the following: 2+ years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience; less experience considered for employees who successfully complete the Otsuka ReadyNow program • 3+ years of business-to-business (B2B) or equivalent outside sales experience in regulated, clinical, or customer engagement experience • 2+ years of clinical healthcare experience (e.g., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, RN, or similar) with demonstrated patient-facing, medical education, or therapy-focused responsibilities • Ability to communicate complex clinical information, influence stakeholders, and translate scientific data into clear, practical value propositions • Strong commitment to ethical business practices and understanding of regulatory standards • Ability to execute business activities in compliance with Company policies and guidance • Ability to assimilate and communicate complex clinical and product information • Must reside within a commutable distance of 50 miles from the primary city in the sales territory • Knowledge of territory and business conditions affecting sales results • Ability to educate office staff on payer guidelines and reimbursement procedures • Ability to utilize promotional materials effectively • Market and industry knowledge to overcome objections and influence prescribing habits • Ability to identify territory professional groups and network with potential key opinion leaders • Ability to build relationships with office/practice personnel and provide accurate information • Ability to deliver effective office calls and sales presentations using approved marketing materials and technical references • Competent knowledge of own products and competition
