📋 Description

• Own and drive delivery of Outcapped's Fractional COO and Operational Assistance services for mission-driven client organizations • Act as outsourced operations leader, advancing organizational structure and strategy and translating leadership priorities into executable operating plans • Manage compliance calendars for UK or US clients, including incorporation, Board agendas, minutes, resolutions, and policies • Run payroll and benefits administration, including oversight of Gusto and Deel • Manage employment compliance across jurisdictions and onboard/offboard client employees and contractors • Own monthly bookkeeping, reconciliations, accounts payable, budget and cash-flow tracking, and grant financial reporting • Project-manage multi-workstream client engagements by scoping, sequencing, and meeting deadlines • Delegate to and quality-check Operational Associates' work • Serve as primary operational contact for assigned accounts, surfacing risks and proposing solutions • Communicate proactively via Slack or email according to engagement terms • Select and implement tools such as Notion, Airtable, Navan, and Ramp • Build SOPs and documentation to make work repeatable across clients

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of operations experience in startups, agencies, or similar environments • Experience owning multiple operational domains such as governance, finance, compliance, or tooling • Ability to execute operational work personally and manage or delegate to others at a consistently high standard • Track record of building and improving systems across multiple organizations or contexts • Strong judgment and demonstrated operational competence • Initiative paired with coachability • Humble, growth-oriented mindset and motivation to keep learning • High ownership mindset and ability to operate independently • Excellent written and verbal English communication • Nice to have: nonprofit, CIC, or NGO compliance and governance experience in the UK or US • Nice to have: deep expertise in Finance, HR, IT, or Recruiting Operations • Nice to have: strong experience with Airtable, Zapier, or Make • Nice to have: experience with early-stage or mission-driven organizations • Nice to have: interest in AI tools and workflow automation • Availability for 3–4 hours overlap with CEST and 3–4 hours overlap with Pacific time three days per week
