📋 Description
• Undertake and coordinate the planning and implementation of construction survey and drafting for heavy civil construction projects • Conduct and oversee survey requirements to facilitate construction activities, including modeling for and layout of critical structures for projects, and to complete as-built surveys • Complete data analysis from as-built surveys and quantity calculations for progress claims • Maintain accurate survey records and related documentation • Perform drafting for various drawings required for pre-construction planning, interim and close-out documentation, or similar reporting • Acquire, manage, and maintain survey instruments and related assets • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures • Adhere to quality management systems and SOPs related to survey activities and related deliverables
🎯 Requirements
• Associate degree or college diploma • Minimum 3 years of experience as a surveyor • Read and interpret construction drawings • Knowledge of applicable Health & Safety legislation • DGPS (Trimble R12 or equivalent), Total Station (SX10 or equivalent), and Drone (Phantom 4 Pro or equivalent) equipment operational experience • Strong computer skills and proficiency in the use of MSOffice, ACAD Civil 3D, or equivalent modeling and engineering-based drafting software • Self-starter with the ability to set standards of excellence in safety and quality • Strong work ethic with the ability to lead a team or work individually • Must be physically fit, work outdoors in various weather conditions, can regularly carry 20kg of equipment • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with clean abstract.
