📋 Description

• Provide strategic leadership for the electrical engineering discipline, aligning team capabilities with business goals and market demands • Oversee technical execution, quality assurance, and delivery of electrical engineering services across all project phases • Lead and mentor engineering managers, senior engineers, and design staff • Foster innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver integrated design solutions • Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and automation teams • Drive process optimization, including QA/QC standards, technology adoption, and documentation workflows • Support business development through proposal strategy, client presentations, and relationship management • Lead resource planning, hiring strategy, and succession planning for the electrical engineering team • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards • Supervise Managers, Principal Engineers, or Senior Engineers • Perform other strategic duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology • Professional Engineering (PE) License required • 15+ years of progressive engineering experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role • Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, and other relevant design and modeling software • Advanced proficiency with electrical design tools such as SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or similar • Proven track record of mentoring, coaching, and developing high-performing engineering teams • Demonstrated success in leading complex, multidisciplinary projects and managing client relationships • Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, proposal development, client engagement, and strategic planning • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Strategic thinking, growth mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement • Self-directed leadership capable of driving initiatives from concept through execution • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time • Ability to periodically travel overnight to jobsites and traverse undeveloped terrain • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
