📋 Description

• Own product master data methodology and governance, including hierarchy logic and attributes • Establish a single governed source of product master data covering hierarchy, attributes, contract data, and core inputs • Fix methodologies for product profitability, profitability drivers, end-market penetration, product cross-referencing, and pricing • Define Product KPIs, including measurements, definitions, and accountability drivers • Create a fact pack supporting product strategy and aligned with North Star KPIs • Lead or co-lead Data Governance initiatives and cross-functional data dependency alignment • Build and maintain initiative tracking linked to EBITDA impact and the North Star • Recommend analyses and methodologies to identify growth, margin-up, and portfolio optimization opportunities • Recommend AI and predictive analytics applications to streamline data tracing and accelerate insights • Inform Product Margin Up strategy and Product Master Data Management initiatives • Advise Product, Finance, IT, Master Data Management, commercial, operations, and sourcing leadership on data-quality gaps and methodology changes • Provide trusted metrics, segmentation inputs, and methodology for Product Quarterly Reviews and Monthly Reviews • Report to the SVP, Supply Chain Planning / Senior Director of Supply Chain Strategy and AI Enablement • Work upstream of the ops-data analytics team without managing it, with solid-line ownership of methodology and commercial demand • Serve as an individual contributor/expert initially, with potential to build and lead a commercial-analytics team • Travel approximately 25% to Richmond

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, data science, economics, engineering, or similar) or equivalent experience • 3+ years in commercial/sales analytics, data science, or master data management • Distribution, healthcare, or med-surg experience strongly preferred • Working command of master data management, including the distinction between master, reference, and derived data • Demonstrated ability to define and defend calculation methodologies to Finance and commercial leaders • Strong SQL and analytics tooling skills • Fluency with the modern data stack • Power BI proficiency for last-mile reporting • Technical depth paired with commercial acumen • Ability to lead and influence across commercial, ops-data, IT, and Finance without direct authority • Understanding of healthcare procurement, GPO/IDN dynamics, and med-surg distribution economics preferred • Familiarity with third-party healthcare market data such as Definitive Healthcare is a plus
