• Serve as the primary technical sales leader for assigned regions and customers • Provide technical expertise on door systems, components, glass, product applications, installation methods, building codes, product performance, and specifications • Support commercial teams with product positioning, value propositions, technical presentations, and customer solutions • Partner with sales leaders and account leaders on strategic growth initiatives • Deliver technical product training to customers, distributors, dealers, builders, architects, and internal sales teams • Resolve complex technical customer issues and field performance concerns • Identify market opportunities, trends, competitive threats, and customer needs • Develop market penetration and growth strategies with commercial leaders • Influence product specifications and adoption across the value chain • Support customer conversions, new product introductions, and commercialization activities • Build relationships with customers, distributors, manufacturers, dealers, builders, and industry influencers • Conduct customer visits, technical evaluations, plant assessments, and field observations • Represent Owens Corning at industry events, trade shows, customer meetings, and technical conferences • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Customer Service, and Marketing • Translate customer feedback and technical challenges into business recommendations • Use CRM and commercial management systems to document opportunities and maintain pipeline visibility • Provide technical business updates and recommendations supporting commercial decisions • Coach, train, and mentor commercial team members • Drive customer focus, continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and business growth
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Marketing, or related field preferred • Significant experience in technical sales, product management, engineering, commercial leadership, or related fields • Demonstrated experience supporting customer growth through technical expertise and commercial partnership • Experience within building products, doors, components, fenestration, millwork, construction products, or related industries preferred • Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and influence business decisions • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving business results • Ability to travel 60-70% • Deep technical knowledge of door systems, door components, glass systems, manufacturing processes, and construction applications • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of sales processes and channel management • Exceptional presentation, training, and communication skills • Ability to translate technical information into customer value propositions • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities • Ability to influence without direct authority • Project management and cross-functional leadership skills • Strong business and financial acumen • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications
