📋 Description

• Partner with developers to solve developer problems and drive infrastructure reliability, performance, and security. • Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy new applications while enhancing existing CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. • Lead the design and implementation of critical software components and mentor less experienced engineers. • Drive systems to align with organizational objectives and business goals. • Manage and optimize cloud costs to ensure they remain in check. • Champion the incident response process and provide guidance to teams on post-mortems.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing infrastructure on GCP, or AWS. • Expertise with Linux systems administration and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python). • In-depth knowledge of DNS, TLS/SSL, CDNs, Load Balancing, and network security. • Strong Experience with Datadog and its tooling beyond simple application logs and traces. • Knowledge of log aggregation and monitoring best practices and how to reduce cost without reducing insights into business applications. • Ability to assist teams with defining and monitoring SLOs and service health metrics. • Thorough knowledge of CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions). • Deep expertise with Kubernetes and Docker. • Familiarity with Javascript build tools and package managers like npm, Yarn, etc. • Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages with a high required knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
