📋 Description

• Provide pre-sales technical support to commercial sales teams • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers • Understand customer security challenges and conduct technical discovery • Architect security solutions across network security, security operations, and cloud security • Position, demonstrate, and design Palo Alto Networks security architectures • Drive customer adoption of the Palo Alto Networks security platform • Lead proof-of-concept engagements, technical workshops, and product demonstrations • Partner with Professional Services, Customer Success, Specialist, Customer Support, and Channel Partner teams • Communicate complex security concepts to technical and executive stakeholders • Orchestrate supporting resources to drive customer success • Promote end-to-end Palo Alto Networks and partner professional services • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging security threats • Contribute to professional development, the District Systems Engineer community, and industry events • Develop expertise across SOC, Cloud, Networking, NetSec, NGFW, SASE, and Unit 42 consulting services • Design and architect large, complex environments • Build and maintain customer relationships and demonstrate consulting skills • Develop business acumen toward CTO/CIO/CISO-level leadership • Travel up to 50% within the assigned district • Mentor inside Systems Engineers

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in pre-sales/sales engineering and/or completion of the SC Academy • Understanding of data networking, security architectures, and modern cloud computing environments • Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives preferred • Ability to influence and gain buy-in from key stakeholders; prior pre-sales experience ideal • Experience creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements • Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies • Experience partnering with Customer Support functions for successful implementation and adoption • Experience in complex sales with long sales processes, multiple buying centers, and multi-product solutions preferred • Proficient in English • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned district • Field sales position; travel may be required for in-person customer meetings • Must not require immigration sponsorship; the company will not sponsor work visas for this position
