In 2024, we reached over $100 million in annual recurring revenue! • Our Engineering team consists of about 200 diverse and talented individuals who are passionate about building a world-class product. While this is a fully remote position, we’d love for you to visit our vibrant offices in Warsaw, Lisbon, or Kyiv whenever you’d like to connect with colleagues in person. • We are investing heavily in our Document and Editor domain – the core of PandaDoc's product experience. To bring our ambitious vision to life, we are building a brand-new team of 5 engineers dedicated to enhancing our Document, redesigning the user experience, and delivering groundbreaking product features. • As a Python Engineer in our newly-formed team, you will have the opportunity to directly impact thousands of users by working on the most challenging and strategic part of our product. You'll collaborate closely with our existing Content, Document, and Java team, which own and maintain key aspects of the Editor, Document Management, and PDF Generation. • This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of impactful projects, drive innovation, and influence the future of our editing experience. Your work will be essential in bringing our vision of a modern, intuitive, and powerful Document domain to life. • Location: Our team is distributed across Europe, with a strong presence in Poland and Portugal. We embrace remote work and flexible arrangements. • Our stack: Service-oriented architecture; Editor-related Python services are primarily AsyncIO; AWS and Kubernetes; NATS, gRPC migration; Kafka and Debezium; RabbitMQ for Celery with Temporal.io; Websocket; PostgreSQL, Redis, S3; LGTM stack for monitoring.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3+ years of development experience with Python • Care about quality; you know what shipping high-quality code means • Experience with any relational databases (SQL queries, migrations, optimization) • Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) • Experience with Amazon Web Services and Kubernetes • Hands-on experience in developing a service-oriented architecture • Hands-on experience with CI/CD (e.g., GitLab) • It is good to have experience with the LGTM stack and OpenTelemetry • It is good to have open-source contributions and experience • It is good to have experience with the event sourcing approach • English: upper intermediate+ (verbal and written)
