📋 Description

• Engage in the Enterprise pre-sales process with Project Manager/Enterprise Solutions Consultants and document work estimates • Conduct discovery calls with stakeholders to answer product questions, collect configuration data, understand client priorities, and create timelines • Explain system limitations and develop alternatives, identifying custom work or Development team involvement early • Work consultatively with decision makers to uncover needs, create, analyze, and validate detailed cross-functional/technical specifications, and drive completion • Increase use of core system functionality to reduce customization and manual processes for large clients • Improve systems by studying current practices, designing modifications, and driving functional change across Product Groups • Perform quality assurance checks on setup work to reduce future defects • Maintain expert knowledge of Paylocity products, partnerships, system functions, and release features • Monitor government regulations for compliance and sustainability • Articulate expert interpretations to internal and external stakeholders • Establish professional intra- and interdepartmental relationships, prioritize needs, and communicate project status and timing expectations • Assist with process improvements, requirements documentation, use cases, and process models • Represent Tech Services in cross-team escalation meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • At least five years’ experience in Payroll, HR, or equivalent work experience • Experience writing business specifications • Experience defining software requirements preferred • Lean Six Sigma experience preferred • Strong technical aptitude preferred • Comfort/experience communicating with Executives • Technical facilitation experience • Project Management experience • Experience in Accounting, specifically experience with journal entries and A/P recommended • Advanced understanding of cost and labor allocations • Must be available five days per week during designated work hours • Ability to travel up to 20% may be required
