📋 Description

• Serve as the first clinical point of contact for members entering Pelago and create a welcoming onboarding experience • Conduct initial screenings and intake assessments covering behavioral health history, substance use, symptoms, and member goals • Explain Pelago care pathways and guide members toward the appropriate level of care • Connect members with counselors or coaches and share relevant clinical information for continuity of care • Conduct welcome calls and early member touchpoints to build rapport, answer questions, increase engagement, and support transition into ongoing care • Maintain a small ongoing caseload through individual counseling and progress monitoring • Provide temporary member coverage during clinician leave, staffing transitions, or other operational needs • Support special projects, pilot programs, and new clinical workflows • Thoroughly document member interactions and contribute to quality improvement • Use CBT, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based interventions, harm reduction, and relapse prevention • Collaborate with Product, Clinical, and Operations teams to improve the member experience and services • Maintain active licensure/certifications in good standing and comply with applicable regulations

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of clinical experience working with individuals with substance use disorders • Demonstrated expertise in CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and relapse prevention • Active and unrestricted state credential (license/certification) issued via a state credentialing board • Credentialing recognized by IC&RC or NAADAC required, such as AADC, CAADC, LADC, or LCSW with SUD treatment scope • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field • Experience providing SBIRT care for people with SUDs • Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills • Experience in program development and quality assurance in clinical settings • Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities • Technologically proficient with experience leveraging virtual tools for care delivery • Reliable home office setup with 50–100 Mbps internet bandwidth and a confidential workspace • Multi-state licensure preferred • Experience with research, data analysis, or program evaluation is a bonus
