📋 Description

• Prospectively review all OASIS assessments for appropriateness, completeness, and compliance with federal and state regulations and Seaport Scripps Home Health • Utilize OASIS variation or alert reports when reviewing OASIS data • Ensure appropriate ICD-10 coding and sequencing for patients’ medical conditions and co-morbidities • Consult clinical staff to clarify data integrity issues and support appropriate corrections • Review visit utilization for appropriateness of care guidelines and patient condition • Report potential financial losses and underutilization to the Clinical Supervisor or designee • Notify leadership of problematic trends identified through OASIS review • Work with managers to address trends affecting agency outcome and process measures • Conduct OASIS inter-rater reliability visits with clinical staff • Participate in Quality Improvement and Corporate Compliance activities • Assist with chart audit activities • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops and professional publications

🎯 Requirements

• Active CA Registered Nurse License • Bachelor’s degree required • 2+ years of clinical home health experience required • Working knowledge of OASIS and ICD-10 coding • OASIS certification (COS-C) preferred • OASIS Home Health ICD-10 coding certification preferred • Knowledge of federal regulations and state licensure requirements
