📋 Description

• Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through targeted research and prospect engagement • Re-engage lost or dissatisfied accounts and prevent churn • Partner with Marketing and product training teams on market research and industry-trend analysis • Uncover high-potential leads and emerging opportunities using data • Build initial trust and rapport through personalized cold calls, targeted emails, and social media engagement • Guide early-stage conversations to uncover needs and qualify sales leads • Prepare high-probability leads for the next stage of engagement • Provide feedback to Marketing on lead quality and prospect insights • Liaise between Marketing and Sales to refine go-to-market strategy and messaging • Track prospecting activities, lead statuses, and interactions in Salesforce • Address current CRM data-integrity issues • Drive revenue attainment and enhance dealer loyalty for Pentair's pool sales teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bilingual required (English/Spanish) • 1–3+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, or a similar lead-generation role • B2B experience preferred • Ability to consistently meet or exceed activity and opportunity-generation targets • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Ability to craft compelling, personalized outreach messages and handle initial customer interactions • Active listening and empathy • Resilience and ability to handle rejection with a positive, growth-oriented mindset • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Ability to manage high-volume outbound activity and prioritize high-potential leads • Proven ability to negotiate effectively to reacquire lost business and entice switches from competitors • Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce and sales-engagement platforms preferred • Experience with data analysis for lead prioritization preferred • Experience researching companies and contacts to drive outreach preferred • Foundational understanding of the pool and spa industry and Pentair's product portfolio preferred • Ability to work shifts between 7am–7pm, depending on supported region • Ability to work overtime when needed
