Pentice Health Care is the company behind Pentice, an AI-driven digital hospitality platform that attaches to Class A multifamily buildings and converts a handful of luxury residential units into a managed short-term revenue layer. The platform (by Pentice) and operations (by Cloud9) provide dynamic pricing, OTA distribution, direct booking, guest screening, guest communication, availability and automation/ reporting — enabling building owners to earn hospitality revenue while the building retains its Class A residential character. Guests can book luxury stays in private residences with hotel-standard cleaning, concierge services, and building amenities.

📋 Description

• Bridge business problems and working code • Tackle ambiguous issues with incomplete information and identify what matters • Build AI-powered solutions and integrate Guesty, Stripe, and internal APIs • Own operational workflows involving automation and business processes • Design and operate agent systems including prompts, tool use, structured outputs, evaluation, observability, and cost tracking • Build end-to-end webhook integrations with idempotency, reconciliation, and observability • Ship the first production version and measure business results • Write specifications, determine priorities, ship work behind a single review, and own production outcomes • Own the pre-arrival flow, translating building house rules into guest check-in experiences and measuring support-call reduction • Report to the Founding Engineer and work daily with the CEO on workflow requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Two or more real examples of going from problem to decision to shipped solution—told with numbers • Hands-on experience building, shipping, and operating own solutions • Experience with external APIs and webhooks, including idempotency and reconciliation • Experience with AI agents, structured output, evaluation, and correcting issues • Clear, concise written English for technical and executive audiences • Mid to senior level • Node, TypeScript, and React experience • Experience with hospitality or property operations, LLM observability and evaluation, event-driven systems, or a founder/solutions engineer background is a bonus
