📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and evolve backend services and APIs connecting Phantom Cash to blockchains • Apply systems thinking and product pragmatism to backend engineering • Balance reliability, quality, and speed • Communicate clearly across pods and document rigorously • Elevate the engineering bar through execution and mentorship • Help make Phantom Cash dependable, seamless, and ready to scale

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience • Pragmatic engineering mindset focused on results and user impact • Proactive and outcome-oriented approach • Strong communication and pragmatic problem-solving skills • Node.js / NestJS at scale • Event-driven design, including queues, retries, and idempotency • REST API architecture, including versioning, pagination, error models, authentication, and rate-limiting • Full-stack awareness of client-versus-server state management and latency budgets • Distributed-systems fundamentals, including concurrency, ordering, retries, and data consistency • Kubernetes and AWS operations, CI/CD, observability, and on-call ownership • Deep interest in crypto, including wallets, protocols, and security norms • Hands-on crypto or fintech experience • Smart-contract and protocol understanding • Blockchain integration experience; Solana preferred, EVM acceptable • Experience shipping high-quality products in mature engineering organizations
