• Monitor and track grant expenditures for compliance with approved budgets and funding requirements • Coordinate with program staff to develop and maintain grant budgets and financial plans • Prepare and submit financial reports, invoices, and reimbursement requests to funding agencies • Maintain records for grants, including contracts, amendments, and reporting deadlines • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and Tribal grant regulations and guidelines • Review grant-related transactions for accuracy, allowability, and documentation • Support grant applications through budget development and financial documentation • Track grant performance and identify risks related to funding, compliance, or spending • Collaborate with the Controller and accounting staff to properly record grant activity • Assist with grant-funded program audit preparation and supporting documentation • Advise departments on grant requirements, allowable costs, and reporting expectations • Develop and maintain tools and processes to improve grant tracking and reporting • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in grant management, financial administration, or related field • Experience working with grant-funded programs and compliance requirements • Strong understanding of budgeting, financial tracking, and reporting • Ability to interpret grant agreements, regulations, and funding requirements • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and financial systems • Ability to manage multiple grants and deadlines simultaneously • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening • Must be able to pass a background investigation • Must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license and insurable driving record
