📋 Description

• Own the Growth practice end to end, including its commercial engine, embedded delivery teams, and strategic client relationships • Drive business development through networking, referrals, strategic partnerships, and direct outreach • Develop go-to-market strategy for Growth-stage Consumer companies • Build private equity, investor, and advisor relationships that generate referrals • Own practice revenue, margins, utilization, and profitability • Build, lead, and develop embedded teams of Controllers and CFOs • Place people in roles where their strengths compound • Set service standards and hold teams accountable for client satisfaction, deliverable quality, and engagement profitability • Conduct portfolio reviews and build capacity through hiring and development • Serve as executive sponsor and escalation point for key accounts • Advise Growth-stage Consumer operators at CFO level • Maintain strategic relationships with complex clients • Participate in board meetings and investor conversations • Translate financial data into strategic insight and deliver difficult messages clearly • Make decisions about pricing, resource allocation, and engagement scope • Use PropellerOS to deliver cross-client insights and codify effective Growth-stage practices • Continuously improve service delivery quality, efficiency, and client impact across the practice

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated business development success, including identifying, cultivating, and closing client relationships in coordination with the GoToMarket team • 15+ years in finance/accounting • At least 7 years in CFO or senior financial leadership roles • Direct experience scaling companies from $30M to $300M+ in revenue, ideally as CFO or VP Finance • Demonstrated AI fluency and current use of AI in finance workflows • Track record leading and developing teams, including managing managers • Multi-client or consulting background strongly preferred, such as Big 4, boutique advisory, PE portfolio, or similar • Strong executive presence and comfort presenting to boards, private equity sponsors, and sophisticated stakeholders • Experience building scalable financial infrastructure, including ERP transitions, reporting systems, and planning processes • Understanding of Consumer business economics, channels, metrics, seasonal rhythms, retail relationships, and brand dynamics • Deep expertise in at least one of DTC/e-commerce, CPG, or omnichannel retail • Experience with core processes and systems such as inventory, trade spend, QuickBooks, and NetSuite • Business Services depth alongside Consumer is a plus
