📋 Description

• Develop an exhaustive understanding of customers’ businesses and decision-making motivations • Connect Everpure and ecosystem technology solutions to measurable customer business outcomes • Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to create customer strategies and drive revenue growth and net-new business • Present the advantages of Everpure solutions • Refine sales strategy and tactics while owning technical responsibilities • Provide technical leadership and domain expertise across storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and DAS, NAS, and SAN offerings • Lead evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations • Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations to customers and prospective accounts • Capture requirements and translate customer business needs into solutions • Author RFI and RFP responses • Pursue interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation opportunities • Promote roadmap and planning exchanges • Liaise with product and technical marketing to produce alliance-supporting materials • Monitor competitors and maintain differentiated solution positioning • Track market trends and competitive landscapes to promote thought leadership • Lead by example through the company’s values

🎯 Requirements

• BS in CS, EE, or another technical degree and/or equivalent experience • Pre-sales experience required • Must reside in the Albany, NY area • 8 or more years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications required • Experience supporting sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts preferred • Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing architectures, design, and implementation • Familiarity with modern web architecture, including LAMP stack, scale-out versus scale-up architectures, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and microservices architecture is a plus • Experience targeting new prospects and converting them into clients • Experience contributing to or leading RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses • Superior knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN • Strong knowledge of cloud-native digital transformation, on-premises environments, public cloud, provisioning automation, and containers • Previous experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments • Experience installing and configuring distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory subsystems, storage subsystem architectures, shared memory architectures, cache architectures, and windowing systems • Knowledge of VMware, LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP is a plus • Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is a plus • Familiarity with storage-intensive applications such as SQL and Oracle databases is highly desirable • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
