⢠Own the annual Human Resources compliance calendar and ensure recurring federal, state, and local requirements are completed on time ⢠Prepare, coordinate, validate, and submit employment- and benefits-related regulatory reports, including EEO-1, California Pay Data Reporting, ACA, Form 5500, RxDC, VETS-4212, and state-required reporting ⢠Partner with Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Legal, external vendors, and HR centers of excellence to collect and validate reporting information ⢠Maintain regulatory filing documentation and audit readiness ⢠Monitor federal, state, and local employment law changes and evaluate their impact on HR policies and practices ⢠Support leave-law compliance monitoring and reporting ⢠Draft, revise, maintain, and publish HR policies, handbook content, and state-specific addendums ⢠Coordinate policy review cycles and maintain policy acknowledgments and communications ⢠Research employment law questions and provide compliance guidance ⢠Administer mandatory compliance training, track state-specific mandates, monitor completion, and maintain records ⢠Conduct audits of HR records, policy acknowledgments, training records, I-9 documentation, personnel files, and employment records ⢠Own I-9 compliance auditing and corrective-action guidance while supporting alignment of I-9 and E-Verify practices with federal requirements ⢠Identify compliance gaps, recommend corrective actions, and support government audits and record reviews ⢠Maintain records according to federal and state retention requirements ⢠Develop compliance tracking tools, reports, dashboards, reference materials, job aids, and standard operating procedures ⢠Identify process improvements through automation, technology, and AI-enabled solutions ⢠Support special HR compliance initiatives and projects ⢠Collaborate across HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Legal, IT, and business leadership ⢠Complete assigned tasks and deliverables on time and on budget
⢠Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, legal studies, or related field OR a recognized HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP ⢠Minimum of five years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience ⢠Minimum of three years of experience supporting Human Resources compliance, employment law administration, regulatory reporting, or Human Resources operations in a multi-state environment ⢠Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, Human Resources compliance requirements, and regulatory reporting obligations ⢠Strong knowledge of multi-state employment practices, handbook administration, and policy development ⢠Experience preparing and coordinating employment-related regulatory reporting, including EEO-1, ACA, California Pay Data Reporting, Form 5500, RxDC, or similar programs ⢠Experience monitoring legislative changes and implementing policy and operational updates ⢠Experience researching employment laws, interpreting regulatory guidance, and applying compliance requirements ⢠Experience drafting, revising, and maintaining Human Resources policies, handbook content, and state-specific policy addendums ⢠Experience managing compliance calendars, regulatory deadlines, and recurring reporting requirements ⢠Experience conducting compliance audits, identifying risks, and developing corrective action recommendations ⢠Experience developing reports, compliance dashboards, and executive summaries ⢠Ability to interpret complex regulations and communicate compliance requirements practically ⢠Ability to exercise sound judgment with confidential and sensitive information ⢠Knowledge of HR programs, employee lifecycle processes, benefits administration, payroll practices, and HR technology ⢠Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS platforms, and reporting tools ⢠Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies ⢠Ability to manage multiple priorities with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy ⢠Ability to work independently and collaboratively ⢠Ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, executives, external vendors, and government agencies ⢠Up to 10% business travel, potentially to any or all 50 U.S. states
