📋 Description

• Conduct food safety audits following QIMA/WQS and scheme owner rules. • Develop audits reports within a determined timeframe. • Summarize and evaluate inspection/audit findings. • Communicate findings/results of inspections/audits with client representatives. • Develop effective audit plans for the completion of assigned inspections/audits within a determined timeframe.

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in a food-related, bioscience discipline, science and engineering, or equivalent higher education course in these subjects. • At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance or food safety functions in food production, manufacturing, retailing, inspection, or enforcement. • Travels up to 80% of the time – by automobile/airplane; some travel may be international. • Weekend travel may be necessary to meet utilization requirements. • Lead auditor training (40-hour/5-day training). • HACCP training (16-hour/2-day training). • Schemes: BRCGS / SQF.
