📋 Description

• Provide oversight and support to conceptual design plans during initial project development • Support data center clients with schedules and cost estimates • Design foundations using commercially available software such as LPILE • Develop steel structure models for rigid bus and equipment supports • Perform company QA/QC processes • Maintain relationships with external business partners • Present information and respond to client questions • Lead or participate in client meetings and job site visits to collect or deliver design and engineering data • Mentor less experienced staff on technical and project management skills • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines • Act on behalf of project owners to bridge knowledge gaps, oversee quality, and provide technical leadership from concept development through detailed design, construction, and commissioning

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science or Master's in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution • 5+ years of experience performing civil structural engineering calculations • Experience with substation and data center projects • Proficiency with drafting programs such as AutoCAD and MicroStation is a plus • Strong analytical and computer skills • Ability to identify necessary software to complete required design work • 5 years of AutoCAD experience • 5 years using power systems modeling software such as ETAP, SKM, and/or EasyPower • Strong communication skills and ability to discuss technical recommendations with customers • Ability to work independently, accurately, and with high attention to detail
