📋 Description

• Lead all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll oversight, and month-end close • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements • Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements • Maintain internal controls and accounting policies • Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors • Oversee cash management, banking relationships, and treasury activities • Manage tax compliance with external tax advisors • Develop KPI dashboards and management reporting • Support long-range financial planning, scenario analysis, and cash flow forecasting • Evaluate business opportunities, capital investments, and operational initiatives through financial analysis • Lead and mentor the accounting team • Improve financial processes, reporting, and system efficiencies • Collaborate across departments to improve financial visibility and decision-making • Support ERP optimization and finance technology initiatives • Partner with executive leadership and FP&A to develop budgets and forecasts • Build and maintain financial models • Analyze financial performance and provide actionable recommendations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • CPA required • 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including Controller or senior accounting leadership responsibilities • Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls • Advanced Excel skills • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills • Ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights for non-financial leaders • Proven ability to improve financial processes and implement best practices • Valid U.S. work authorization is required • Preferred: experience with NetSuite, Bill.com, Salesforce, and Avalara • Preferred: experience developing financial dashboards and KPI reporting • Preferred: experience using AI to automate workflows and processes
