📋 Description

• Lead all Inventory Planning and Forecasting functions for an assigned business portfolio • Own forecasting and replenishment to drive optimal inventory turns, improve in-stock performance, and maximize return on investment • Forecast items at the style-color-size level by week and achieve inventory KPIs • Partner with internal sourcing teams and external vendors on forecasts and product availability • Develop and implement integrated, intelligent, and automated forecasting solutions with the technology team • Conduct analytics and root-cause analysis to identify KPI improvement opportunities • Model vendor relationships, terms, and risk profiles with sourcing • Build short-, mid-, and long-range inventory and replenishment plans aligned with business strategy • Present forecasts, strategies, and performance updates weekly to executives • Manage and mentor one or more team members as the function scales • Shape future Planning processes and architect solutions and capabilities • Report directly to the VP of Inventory Planning

🎯 Requirements

• Sr. Manager level or above; Director-level preferred • Minimum of 10 years of experience in inventory planning, merchandising, or related analytics/technology roles • Bachelor’s degree required • MBA or Master’s in Supply Chain Management preferred • Proficiency in advanced Excel statistical functions • Fluency with Google Suite • Comfort working with large data sets • Experience prototyping inventory optimization techniques and converting insights into scalable technology • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners • Strong commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence • Proven ability to find, organize, and use data to draw actionable conclusions with minimal assumptions • Comfort working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment • Insatiable curiosity and desire to uncover insights that drive results • Willingness to form and share informed points of view with peers and executives • Ability to pivot quickly in a dynamic, startup-like environment • Commitment to building scalable processes and industry-leading technology • Exceptional presentation and communication skills • Strong understanding of how forecasting impacts company priorities, objectives, and financial performance • Bias toward leveraging technology for operational improvement • Successful completion of a background check
