📋 Description

• Design and develop end-to-end data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Azure tools such as Azure Data Factory and Synapse Pipelines • Develop and optimize Azure Databricks Spark data processing jobs using PySpark or Scala • Manage Databricks workspaces and clusters, tuning configurations and troubleshooting jobs for performance and cost-efficiency • Provision and manage Azure data platform resources across environments using Infrastructure-as-Code • Implement and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD build and release pipelines for automated deployments • Support day-to-day operations of the Azure Modern Data Platform • Monitor and maintain platform stability across storage and compute • Resolve connectivity and networking issues • Ensure Azure RBAC permissions and data security measures are in place • Collaborate with data architects, BI developers, cloud engineers, and client stakeholders • Align solutions with Azure best practices, Quisitive standards, and business requirements

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with Microsoft Azure, including data ingestion, ETL/ELT pipeline development, and big data processing • Proficiency in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and related SQL/NoSQL technologies • Experience with Azure DevOps Repos and Pipelines for CI/CD, code management, deployment pipelines, and automated releases • Practical Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform • Strong programming skills in Python or Scala for Spark jobs • Strong SQL skills for data transformations • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Azure fundamentals, including cloud networking, security and permissions, and monitoring • Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication with technical teams and clients • US citizenship or authorization to work in the United States • Ability to work without employer sponsorship, as sponsorship is unavailable • Eastern or Central time zone preferred
