📋 Description

• Develop automation solutions to drive operational efficiency and reduce manual effort. • Design, build and maintain platform infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools such as Terraform. • Operate and evolve a Kubernetes-based platform for the Data & AI department, enabling deployment, management, and scaling of services following GitOps practices. • Leverage Data Lakehouse platforms (such as Databricks) to support platform capabilities. • Collaborate closely with other engineering, DevOps/MLOps, site reliability, and product teams to define platform standards, improve reliability and enable developer self-service. • Participate in architecture discussions, propose improvements, and drive the adoption of best practices. • Stay current with emerging technologies and the cloud-native ecosystem to continuously improve the platform.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Databricks or other Data Lakehouse technologies. • Extensive practical experience operating Kubernetes in production or at scale. • Proficient in Python, Shell, and/or Go for scripting and automating infrastructure and workflows. • Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure or GCP). • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and take ownership. • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams in a fast-moving environment. • Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus but not required.
