📋 Description

• Contribute to data quality, performance, reliability, and automation initiatives • Manage a portfolio of data products delivering high-quality, trustworthy data • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and workflows for data ingestion, processing, and transformation • Collaborate with engineering to ensure data pipeline quality and reliability • Develop and implement data quality checks, conduct QA, and implement monitoring routines • Create and manage data integrations across internal and external systems • Create and manage internal tools and applications that streamline data analysis and reporting • Drive adoption of tools and applications with a focus on automation, consistency, and reliability • Advise data scientists, engineering managers, and leadership on data foundations • Communicate and shape Reddit’s data foundations roadmap and strategy

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a quant educational field • 3+ years of experience working with large-scale ETL systems in a production environment • Experience implementing, strategizing, and maintaining large-scale ETL systems • Experience building clean, maintainable code and systems; Python preferred • Strong programming proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, Scala, etc. • Experience with data modeling, ETL and ELT concepts, and efficient data governance patterns • Experience manipulating massive-scale structured and unstructured data • Experience with data workflows such as Airflow • Experience with front-end or back-end engineering • Experience in data analysis and dashboard design • Deep understanding of technical and functional designs for relational and MPP Databases • Proven track record of cross-functional execution and collaboration • Agentic AI-assisted development experience • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels • Ability to work independently and autonomously, as well as part of a team
