📋 Description

• Write production-quality agents, integrations, and data pipelines on Redpanda ADP inside customer environments and codebases • Quickly understand unfamiliar codebases, data environments, and constraints • Own technical deliverables from design through production deployment and clean handoff • Collaborate daily with customer engineers and ensure integrations fit their existing systems • Document solutions, train customer teams, and minimize ongoing dependencies • Identify recurring engagement patterns and relay productization opportunities to Product and Engineering • Travel 30–50% during active engagements and work on-site when builds are live • Report to the Director, Customer Engineering

🎯 Requirements

• 6–10+ years of professional experience in a combination of software engineering and customer-facing technical roles • Experience writing production software, including backend systems, data pipelines, APIs, or agent systems • Experience building agents, working with LLM APIs, or integrating complex systems • Ability to work in unfamiliar codebases, data environments, and technical stacks • Ability to work directly with customer engineering teams as a credible technical partner • Experience shipping software at a customer site or in a deployment context • U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship • Pre-IPO B2B SaaS experience in the past 5 years • Preferred: forward-deployed or customer-embedded engineering experience • Preferred: streaming or real-time data systems experience (Kafka, Flink, Redpanda, or similar) • Preferred: regulated-industry or air-gapped-environment experience • Preferred: experience as the first or only technical person in a customer engagement
