• Own features across the full development lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring; ensure reliability and performance at scale • Manage production systems, optimize infrastructure, and contribute to platform availability, scalability, and resilience • Partner with Product, Design, and cross-functional teams to build solutions that meet customer and business needs • Proactively identify areas for technical, process, and product improvement; influence technical direction and long-term strategy • Tackle complex problems, ship high-quality robust code, and shape systems across the full product suite • Deliver end-to-end features, influence technical decisions, and mentor/lead engineers
• 3+ years of full-stack software engineering experience • Led the development of significant components or features, delivering them successfully with minimal oversight • Mentor junior engineers, sharing expertise and fostering growth • Proactively drive enhancements to code quality, optimize performance, and streamline development processes • Lifelong learner, curious about new frameworks, best practices, and emerging technologies • Thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and comfortable navigating ambiguity and change • Collaborative team player, eager to pitch in, ask questions, and provide and receive feedback • Take ownership end-to-end, solving problems creatively while keeping customer and business impact front-of-mind • (Bonus) Experience with JavaScript — primarily TypeScript, React, and Node.js • (Bonus) Working knowledge of AWS services (ECS, S3, RDS, Dynamo, Lambda) and continuous deployment pipelines • (Bonus) Experience with startups or high-growth tech companies • Legally authorized to work in Canada / answer sponsorship questions • Able to join the Toronto office two days a week (Tues/Thurs)
