📋 Description

• Manage complete bookkeeping functions for multiple Canadian clients • Maintain accurate and organized financial records • Record and post journal entries • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts • Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports • Analyze financial statements and investigate variances • Process payroll using: QuickBooks Online Payroll, Wagepoint, Payworks, ADP and similar payroll platforms • Prepare and file T4 Slips, T4A Slips, T5018 Slips, Records of Employment (ROE)

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience • Strong experience using QuickBooks Online (Canadian Version) • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Experience working with Canadian companies and accounting requirements • Strong understanding of: Accrual Accounting, Canadian Bookkeeping Standards, Payroll Processing, Government Remittances, Financial Statement Preparation • Experience performing: Month-End Close, Year-End Close, Catch-Up Bookkeeping, Cleanup of messy or behind bookkeeping files • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to manage multiple client deadlines simultaneously
