📋 Description

• Review complex federal and state tax returns with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and identifying tax-saving opportunities. • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, offering year-round tax planning, strategic consulting, and proactive communication. • Train, mentor, and delegate work to senior and staff accountants, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment. • Manage workflow, deadlines, and budgets for the tax department during peak seasons and throughout the year. • Resolve complex tax issues and conduct advanced research using modern tax automation tools. • Oversee the firm's tax compliance and planning function, including tax filings, research, and audits. • Advise leadership on the tax implications of business decisions. • Review complex corporate, partnership, individual, trust, non-profit, and gift tax returns. • Drive proactive tax planning.

🎯 Requirements

• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master of Science in Taxation (MST) or MBA is a strong plus. • 5 to 8+ years of progressive tax experience within a public accounting firm. • Deep knowledge of current tax laws, multi-jurisdictional compliance, and proficiency with tax preparation and research software. • Superior verbal and written communication skills, exceptional critical thinking, and proven client-relationship management abilities
