📋 Description

• Lead delivery of civil and land development designs for utility-scale renewable energy projects • Create complex civil engineering plans, details, calculations, and documentation, including site layouts in AutoCAD/Civil 3D • Lead site design, grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion control, access roads, and related civil design across projects or portfolios • Apply engineering judgment and develop practical, constructible design solutions • Evaluate and adapt engineering procedures and criteria; develop improved techniques, processes, materials, or products • Oversee projects within a portfolio and coordinate documents and activities for multiple major projects • Review and finalize scopes, budgets, and schedules; prepare professional-services proposals • Support project execution against scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations • Prepare and review drawings, reports, technical studies, specifications, and calculations for quality assurance • Ensure compliance with company, industry, jurisdictional, client-specific standards, practices, and codes • Review site constraints, permitting requirements, jurisdictional standards, and project criteria • Identify design issues, project risks, and opportunities to improve quality, constructability, or efficiency • Coordinate design across civil, structural, electrical, project management, and other internal disciplines • Lead project meetings and communicate engineering work to internal and external stakeholders • Act as primary discipline or project-team contact for clients, project managers, permitting authorities, and external partners • Supervise, train, and mentor staff engineers • Advise upper-level management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor • Contribute to Revamp's accountability, quality, curiosity, and clean-energy mission

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related engineering discipline, or similar applicable work experience • 8+ years of experience in civil engineering design and drafting utilizing AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D • Proficiency in the creation of civil land development sheet sets, including grading, site drainage, and access road design • Advanced working knowledge of civil engineering principles, standards, codes, and design practices • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently • Ability to identify and solve complex engineering problems • Advanced verbal and written communication skills • Ability to be both creative and analytical • Detail-oriented and accurate • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize work, and meet deadlines • Collaborative approach to project delivery and cross-functional coordination • Professional Civil Engineering (PE) licensure is strongly preferred; multi-state licensure is desirable • Prior renewable energy, utility-scale solar, BESS, infrastructure, or land development experience; experience with utility or commercial solar PV systems or energy storage system design is strongly preferred • Prior supervisory or managerial experience • Experience with civil design software and tools relevant to site design, grading, drainage, stormwater, and permitting • Experience coordinating with clients, permitting authorities, project managers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams • Employment offers are contingent on completion of a background check
