📋 Description

• Apply first-principles thinking to break down hard problems and ship durable solutions. • Understand business needs and build end-to-end product experiences across backend services, data pipelines, and frontend interfaces. • Build, scale, and maintain infrastructure including containerized microservices, orchestration pipelines, and cloud-native architecture. • Develop and continually improve observability of systems and infrastructure at scale. • Partner with clinical experts and engineers to build scalable, clinically accurate systems that surface actionable insights. • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production issues daily, owning problems from alert through root cause and prevention. • Challenge the status quo by fixing slow, fragile, or over-engineered systems.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building high-quality code and infrastructure. • 3+ years of experience working with large-scale distributed systems, including microservices, event-driven architecture, or pipeline orchestration. • 2+ years of experience with AWS or Google Cloud. • Hands-on experience building across the stack: backend services using Python, Node, or similar, and frontend interfaces using React, TypeScript, and CSS. • Familiarity with containerization, cloud-native deployment patterns, and common architectural patterns for scalable systems. • Strong debugging instincts, including tracing problems through multiple services, reading logs, forming hypotheses, and resolving issues under pressure. • Curiosity about the latest generative AI advances and a thoughtful perspective on where AI tools help and where they do not. • High ownership and accountability. • Experience in healthcare, clinical data, or value-based care is nice to have. • Experience with Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, or similar pipeline orchestration tools is nice to have. • Experience with Firestore, BigQuery, or other GCP data services is nice to have. • New hires must be E-Verified.
