📋 Description

• Complete estimates for projects across the business • Work with clients on conceptualizing, planning, and preparing estimations and creative design proposals for presentation • Work with the Estimating/Sales team to find new opportunities aligned with corporate strategy • Identify sales leads and maintain relationships with current and new contacts • Develop relationships with key stakeholders and bid on projects • Host visits for showroom tours and qualification • Support production, installation, and client inquiries as needed • Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements to prepare accurate estimates for aluminum railing projects • Perform material quantity take-offs and cost calculations • Prepare and submit detailed quotations and proposals to clients, contractors, and builders • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing for materials and services • Evaluate project scope, timelines, and installation requirements • Participate in departmental and interdepartmental meetings or training as required • Prequalify potential clients, establish budget and timelines, prepare quotations and site installation meetings as required • Assist project managers with change orders • Manage client expectations by explaining company processes, policies, and timelines • Update clients on product offerings, pricing, and assembly options • Work closely with Sales, design, and production departments • Report to the Chief Estimator/V.P Sales

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with within aluminum railings/ miscellaneous steel/ornamental steel • Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Building Connect and Procore • Knowledge of Division 05 (Metals) specifications and architectural metal products • Excellent written and oral communication skills required • Ability to conduct occasional site visits as required • Reliability, integrity, passion and in-person presentation skills with a strong ability to establish relationships and close deals • Exceptional, industry leading, customer service skills with a proven strength in exceeding client expectations and an ability to identify best product and fit for client needs • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle • Must be flexible with work hours
