📋 Description

• Own River's video content pipeline by generating and filtering video ideas • Source input from the marketing team and River's research • Own and test video titles and thumbnails • Write medium- to long-form scripts on money and Bitcoin topics, including host-led and animated videos • Develop hooks and introductions to retain the audience and provide structure • Own the story edit and direct editing and video hosts on structure, pacing, and cuts • Drive YouTube success metrics including view count, retention, and returning-viewer rate • Build systems for consistent quality content production, including idea backlog, filtering, scripting, and title/thumbnail testing loops • Report to River's Director of Marketing and collaborate with the Host-Producer, marketing team, and company leadership

🎯 Requirements

• A track record of growing a video channel, your own or one you led • Demonstrated ability to develop ideas and packaging that measurably move views and retention • Deep knowledge of video titles and thumbnails, with examples demonstrating this craft • Exceptional writing and storytelling ability • Strong understanding of the YouTube algorithm, retention curves, and click-through rate • Solid understanding of Bitcoin in the economic sense • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for ideas and results • Integrity and ability to present facts honestly and the brand professionally • On-camera, interviewing, or hosting experience (nice to have) • Background in finance, economics, or journalism (nice to have)
