📋 Description

• Lead the monthly close for assigned areas, including journal entries, reconciliations, balance sheet analysis, aged-item review, and issue resolution • Review and approve accounting schedules and supporting documentation prepared by the team • Evaluate complex transactions and determine appropriate accounting treatment, escalating non-routine matters • Maintain compliance with US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, SOX, internal controls, and company policies • Partner with business leaders, international accounting teams, and auditors to resolve accounting matters and support financial reporting • Drive process improvements through automation, analytics, AI-enabled tools, and transformation initiatives • Maintain understanding of financial systems, data flows, and interfaces supporting the ERP environment • Develop and mentor team members through coaching, feedback, career development, and skill-building opportunities • Foster a high-performing team culture focused on accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and practical problem-solving

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Five or more years of progressive accounting experience • Experience reviewing work and leading or developing team members • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, SOX, and internal controls • Public accounting experience preferred • CPA strongly preferred • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills • Financial ERP experience; Workday Financials is a plus • Demonstrated interest in process improvement, automation, analytics, and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled finance tools • Successful completion of a background check as a condition of employment
