📋 Description

• The primary responsibility of the internal appraiser is to conduct thorough appraisals by providing detailed, unbiased estimates of property value based on a comprehensive analysis of market trends, property condition, and comparable sales. • In addition to completing appraisals, the internal appraiser ensures compliance with industry regulations and client requirements, working closely with our other RPS teams to ensure reports are delivered on time and any issues related to the appraisal process are resolved. • This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal RPS teams to ensure a seamless process from order to completion.

🎯 Requirements

• Designation from one of the Canadian appraisal associations • Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in real estate appraisal • Customer-service driven — understand our appraisers and clients, anticipate needs, and strive to exceed client expectations • Interpersonal skills — ability to develop and maintain positive relationships and facilitate constructive interactions • Active listening — ability to listen attentively, understand the full message, respond thoughtfully, and retain key information • Team-oriented — collaborate with diverse teams across the company • Critical thinking — determine client needs and the best course of action and think creatively to resolve problems • Technology — proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (primarily Word, Outlook, and Excel)
