📋 Description

• Support drafting, negotiation, interpretation, and management of complex proposal and contract documents for the Military Engines Organization • Support the F135 Production and Development team • Serve as the primary focal point for external and internal customers regarding contract issues and interpretation of contract requirements • Provide contract leadership and expertise in developing innovative solutions to complex contracting issues • Manage contracts from start through close-out • Review terms and conditions and advise on contracting rights and obligations • Mitigate contractual and programmatic risks • Interact with organizational managers and the United States Government • Exercise discretion and work independently • Travel approximately 10%

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of contract management or contract drafting and negotiating experience; OR an advanced degree and 7+ years of such experience • 5+ years of Contract Management experience working directly with the USG • U.S. citizenship required • Strong customer interaction and negotiation skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong document drafting skills • Understanding of aerospace business and legal issues • Familiarity with CORE process improvement tools • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team • Experience with FAR and DFARs strongly preferred • Good business judgment and project management skills • Master's Degree or Juris Doctorate preferred
