📋 Description

• Lead high-stakes suppliers through multiple onsite engagements and executive-level presentations • Lead internal and supplier containment actions with Operations and Quality • Facilitate supplier kick-off meetings and rapid response actions • Conduct root cause and corrective action investigations for critical quality or delivery issues • Coordinate improvement plans, plan review checkpoints, KPI tracking, and exit criteria • Escalate persistent issues to crisis mode or tiger teams when warranted • Partner with Commodity Teams and SBUs to transition issues to sustainable operations • Identify supplier sites and prioritize development based on risk, impact, and strategic commodity needs • Conduct supplier assessments using SRA, SHA, Gemba, and related methods • Develop supplier roadmaps, training, targeted actions, maturity models, and long-term growth plans • Align with Commodity Managers and Engineering on supplier readiness for new programs and volume ramp-ups • Facilitate structured improvement plans, gate reviews, maturity tracking, and sustainment planning • Develop manufacturing process technology tools and standardization, including FMEAs and Control Plans • Lead or support supplier transitions with minimal disruption • Execute APQP for new product launches and work transition projects • Monitor supplier maturity after transitions and support continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience • Experience in CORE / LEAN principles and tools for continuous improvement and benchmarking best practices • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Access • Experience reading blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and manuals • U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract • Ability to travel to supplier sites as needed, minimum 50% of the time • High energy level and experience working with cross-functional personnel • Strong communication skills and ability to develop relationships across Collins Aerospace business units • Strong work orientation and organizational skills • Experience in SAP preferred
