📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate core AWS cloud infrastructure, including compute, networking, IAM, and container orchestration • Own organization-wide CI/CD pipelines, artifact management, environment promotion, progressive rollout, and rollback • Build and maintain logging, metrics, distributed tracing, alerting, SLIs, and SLOs • Drive infrastructure as code practices and manage Kubernetes clusters, custom controllers, and operators • Partner with security and compliance on secrets, network policy, and access controls • Design self-service developer tooling and platform APIs for product and AI engineering teams • Own incident response tooling, on-call practices, and reliability engineering standards • Lead or support major platform incident response • Partner with engineering leadership and finance on cost visibility, capacity planning, and optimization • Write documentation, runbooks, and clear platform interfaces • Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices • Work normal day business hours in the Eastern US time zone

🎯 Requirements

• BS or higher in Computer Science or a related coding-focused technical field, or equivalent technical experience • 8+ years of platform, infrastructure, or site reliability engineering experience • Staff, Principal, or Architect-level scope demonstrated through platform architecture or critical production systems ownership • Deep hands-on CI/CD experience, including artifact management, environment promotion, and progressive rollout • Strong AWS experience across IAM, networking, and container orchestration • Production Kubernetes experience • Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions • Track record building internal developer platforms or tools adopted by engineering teams • Hands-on coding fluency in Python, Go, or TypeScript • Ability to operate in a polyglot Python, .NET, and TypeScript environment • Infrastructure as code experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi • Modern observability tooling experience, such as Prometheus, New Relic, Grafana, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry • Ability to own infrastructure cost and reliability discussions with engineering leadership and finance • Strong written communication and documentation skills • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
