📋 Description

• Own a domain of company performance, including diagnosis, roadmap, realized value, and executive sponsorship relationship • Frame unarticulated business problems into structured, decision-ready agendas • Lead priority setting across Strategy & Operations and adjacent operating teams • Resolve competing executive demands • Set analytical standards and arbitrate contested numbers with Finance and the executive team • Move executive conversations from discussion to decision • Broker agreement between leaders • Build management rhythms and standards, including cadences, systems, tooling, and documentation • Report portfolio value to the executive team with credible attribution • Manage and develop three to four people, including Managers • Build bench, conduct difficult conversations, and grow leaders • Own hiring for the function and shape its operating model, standards, and culture • Translate frontline operating needs into Product, Data Engineering, and AI roadmaps • Set standards for evaluating AI investments based on business cases • Stay hands-on with models, memos, and working sessions when stakes justify it

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field • 7-9 years in management consulting, business operations, or product development, or a combination • Demonstrated ownership of enterprise-level, cross-functional programs with measurable business outcomes • Experience managing and developing a team, including people who manage others or lead workstreams independently • Executive presence with range • Deep analytical and technical fluency • Comfort with data and reasoning about platforms, automation, and agentic AI tools such as Claude or Claude Code • Credibility in evaluating what is worth building • Track record in ambiguous environments where the problem was not defined in advance • Strong business judgment • Orientation toward durable operating change rather than one-time analysis • Ability to operate as a player-coach • Experience leading strategy or platform initiatives inside a product organization strongly preferred • Technical background, such as a CS or engineering degree or early-career building experience, useful but not required • MBB or equivalent consulting foundation with meaningful operating or product experience, useful but not required • MBA or comparable achievement signal is a plus • Familiarity with healthcare, logistics, transportation, marketplaces, or regulated operating environments is useful
