• Manage multiple data center design projects from proposal through construction documentation and project closeout • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, including electrical, mechanical, structural, and BIM/VDC professionals • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and deliverables • Serve as primary contact for clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle • Lead project kickoff meetings, design reviews, coordination meetings, and client presentations • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies • Ensure design quality, consistency, and compliance with Canadian and U.S. codes, client standards, and industry best practices • Coordinate with technical discipline leads to resolve design challenges and facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration • Support contract administration, scope management, change orders, and project reporting • Mentor junior project staff and promote continuous improvement in project delivery processes • Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation, project planning, and client relationship management • Travel occasionally to client offices, project sites, and team meetings across Canada and the United States
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution; bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline also stated • 7+ years of experience managing multidisciplinary engineering or design projects, preferably involving mission-critical facilities or data centers • Experience leading complex projects through all phases of design and engineering • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including electrical power systems, mechanical cooling systems, and critical facility design principles • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams in a consulting or EPC environment • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar scheduling software • Familiarity with Revit, Revizto, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or comparable design coordination platforms is an asset • Knowledge of Canadian building codes and applicable provincial regulations, with familiarity with U.S. industry standards • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to manage client relationships effectively • PMP certification or eligibility is an asset • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple concurrent projects • EIT or PEng license and additional certifications such as LEED AP or PMP are a plus
