📋 Description

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a key product area, potentially including fuel cost optimization, fleet efficiency, energy management, or operational cost intelligence • Translate operational data including telematics, fuel consumption, idling, routing, and vehicle health into cost-reduction and fleet-performance products • Conduct discovery with fleet owners, fuel managers, operations leaders, and finance teams • Prototype and design MVPs, clickable flows, working demos, and AI-assisted rough cuts • Ship end-to-end experiences with design, engineering, and data science, including backend pipelines, partner integrations, dashboards, and mobile surfaces • Define success metrics, build business cases, and drive experimentation and iteration using data and customer feedback • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles while scaling globally and across new offices

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in product management, with a track record of shipping products used by real customers at scale • Experience designing, prototyping, or building a product yourself • Experience driving a cross-functional launch end to end • Hands-on data skills, including defining KPIs, measuring outcomes, and working with data science • Strong customer-research instincts and ability to turn learnings into product strategy • Excellent communication skills and ability to align engineering, marketing, legal, and go-to-market stakeholders • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience • Experience shipping products involving partnerships, integrations, or external data (ideal) • Domain experience in fuel/energy, fleet management, fintech/payments, logistics, or electric vehicles (ideal) • Experience shipping AI- or ML-powered features (ideal)
