📋 Description

• Fill a developer role on a break-fix incident team • Troubleshoot end-to-end data discrepancies across HANA Calculation Views, SAP BW, and SAP source system extractors • Debug dataflows and analyze mapping and logic issues • Troubleshoot memory and performance issues in HANA Calculation Views • Develop and optimize HANA Calculation Views and Table Functions • Develop and maintain SAP source system extractors, including generic and logistics extractors • Manage data loading mechanisms, delta handling, and ETL processes in SAP landscapes • Analyze, debug, and fix ABAP code used in extractors and transformations • Perform SQL-based data analysis, debugging, and performance tuning in HANA and BW environments • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve break-fix incidents with a cross-functional agile team • Document and explain technical findings and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Current Secret Clearance required • 3–5 years of SAP BW & HANA Development experience • Expertise in identifying and resolving data discrepancies across the entire dataflow, from HANA Calculation Views through SAP BW to SAP source system extractors • Proficiency in debugging dataflows and analyzing mapping and logic issues • Advanced troubleshooting of memory and performance issues in HANA Calculation Views • Expertise in HANA modeling, including Calculation Views and Table Functions, with a focus on optimization • Strong experience developing and maintaining SAP source system extractors, including generic and logistics extractors • Knowledge of data loading mechanisms, delta handling, and ETL processes in SAP landscapes • Ability to analyze, debug, and fix issues in ABAP code, including custom code used in extractors and transformations • Proficient in SQL for data analysis, debugging, and performance tuning in HANA systems and BW environments • In-depth knowledge of SAP BW data models, transformations, process chains, and InfoProviders • Familiarity with S/4HANA system integration and CDS views preferred • Strong ability to work on a cross-functional, agile team on root cause analysis and resolution of break-fix incidents • Effective communication and documentation skills to explain technical findings and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
