📋 Description

• Maintain participation in and/or coordinate, consult on, and provide technical support for clinical data systems, including CMS, TJC, and other registries • Manage daily chart reviews and registry deadlines independently • Develop and implement processes to collect, monitor, analyze, and report quality improvement and safety information • Contribute to Sanford’s health quality plan • Coordinate and facilitate assigned quality improvement goals • Facilitate quality improvement activities and implement improvement strategies within assigned departments and settings • Stimulate problem solving and innovation • Coordinate peer review activities • Analyze patient records to identify potential variances from desired clinical outcomes • Design and provide education on quality improvement topics • Provide consultation on quality improvement and accreditation

🎯 Requirements

• RN or LPN with previous experience in the hospital setting • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state clinical licensure • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, and NLN CNEA • Minimum of three years clinical background in specialty required • Microsoft Office applications experience preferred • Unencumbered professional clinical license with the applicable state board, accrediting body, and/or national registry as required • If an RN, an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or multistate licensure if in an NLC state • Required department-specific competencies and certifications • CPHQ certification preferred
