📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end quality assurance, test automation, and release stability for the ScholarshipOwl Flutter mobile app and GraphQL API integration • Build, maintain, and execute parallelized end-to-end smoke and regression test pipelines using Patrol in Codemagic and GitLab CI • Establish automated contract and API integration testing for GraphQL schema updates and mobile query requirements • Integrate Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini into QA workflows to generate Patrol scripts, mock payloads, and log triage • Review Figma feature specifications and GraphQL schemas before sprint commitments to identify edge cases, logic gaps, and design flaws • Participate in pull request reviews • Monitor build health, Firebase Remote Config and Analytics, Sentry logs, and GCP Cloud Run logs • Triage issues across Flutter BLoC/UI state, GraphQL resolvers, and backend services • Log detailed GitLab issues with developer-ready context • Conduct exploratory and release testing across iOS Simulators, Android Emulators, physical devices, TestFlight, Google Play Console internal tracks, and Shorebird OTA hot-patches • Use Flutter Storybook for visual regression and component-level testing

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Mobile QA Engineering or Test Automation • At least 1+ year actively incorporating AI coding tools into daily workflows • Hands-on experience with Flutter automation frameworks such as Patrol or Flutter Integration Test, or strong Appium/XCUITest/Espresso skills with readiness to learn Patrol • Proficiency testing GraphQL APIs using Bruno, Postman, Playwright, or HTTP clients • Experience with GraphQL schema validation, headers, and JWT authentication flows • Comfort inspecting Figma files for UI specifications and design tokens • Experience using Xcode and Android Studio tools • Experience managing Firebase Remote Config and feature flags • Familiarity with Apple App Store/TestFlight and Google Play Console internal testing workflows • Experience with mobile CI/CD tools including Codemagic and GitLab CI • Experience with Git and GitLab workflows • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software development/test automation • Clear, concise written and spoken English communication skills • Advanced AI-assisted test generation and mock-payload creation skills are nice to have • Dart/Flutter coding ability and Flutter Storybook experience are nice to have • Shorebird, TypeScript/Bun, GCP, Cloud Run, Cloud Logging, Unleash, and relevant certifications are nice to have • Prior experience testing cross-platform Flutter applications with GraphQL backends is a bonus • Experience with consumer mobile apps, EdTech platforms, subscription/billing systems, or onboarding funnels is a bonus
