📋 Description

• Perform manual testing of an interactive, web-based weather visualization platform • Verify weather-data features, including radar, map layers, and storm patterns, function correctly and display accurately • Participate in live testing events during tornado outbreaks • Identify, document, and clearly communicate bugs or anomalies • Collaborate with the development team to confirm bug fixes and improve usability • Suggest improvements based on weather-data understanding and end-user behavior

🎯 Requirements

• Current student in meteorology, climatology, environmental sciences, or a weather-related field, or self-taught weather enthusiast with deep understanding of radar maps, forecasting models, and storm tracking • User of different weather applications and weather data sources • Curious, observant, and detail-oriented, with a natural knack for spotting discrepancies • Strong communication skills and ability to document bugs clearly in English • Comfortable using web tools and navigating across browsers and devices • Familiarity with QA principles such as exploratory testing and regression testing (nice to have) • Experience using bug tracking or task management tools (nice to have) • Basic knowledge of data feeds or weather APIs (nice to have) • Stable internet connection
