• Provide vision and leadership in the design and development of education products tailored to client needs • Work directly with the Director of Publishing Operations and Content Manager • Integrate research-based pedagogy and subject matter expertise into curriculum products • Act as a project manager • Collaborate remotely across time zones and backgrounds throughout the content production process • Potentially work on curriculum development projects as an independent contractor
• Candidates with project samples are highly encouraged to apply • 3+ years of experience developing content for K-12 students for publication at the state or national level • 2+ years of teaching experience • Proven effectiveness at leading teams, working across teams, and/or participating in curriculum design at the direction of organizational leadership • Proven effectiveness at reviewing content for standards alignment, clarity, and cohesion • Strong familiarity with digital and print development projects • Strong understanding of grade-appropriate content, college- and career-ready standards, and pedagogy • Current on relevant research • Ability to adhere to client requirements and deadlines • Significant experience working in publishing tools, including content templates, InCopy, and assessment platforms • Belief that all students are capable of engaging in rigorous, meaningful work • Required to complete a short vetting task • Must complete non-disclosure and business agreements when selected • Full-time, consistent work is not guaranteed
