• Handle losses and claims for property and casualty insurers • Examine insurance policies and records to determine coverage • Interview, telephone, and correspond with claimants and witnesses • Consult police and hospital records and inspect property damage to determine liability • Estimate repair, replacement, or compensation costs • Prepare findings reports and negotiate settlements with claimants • Recommend litigation by the legal department when settlements cannot be negotiated • Attend litigation hearings • Revise case reserves to cover probable costs • Assist in preparing loss experience reports to determine profitability and calculate adequate future rates • Conduct comprehensive desktop investigations of assigned claims • Obtain required loss details and relevant information; determine claim coverage and validity • Communicate with insured parties and claimants; prepare reports and negotiate settlements • Maintain accurate records using company custom computer systems • Coordinate task assignments with field adjusters • Review and interpret policy wording to confirm and apply coverage • Manage billing for assigned files within specified timelines • Maintain relationships with existing clients to further develop business • Keep current with industry and legislative issues and changes • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Condo experience required • 1 to 2 years of experience • Enrolled in CIP program • Proven adjusting, negotiating, and analytical skills • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web-based applications • Strong oral and written communication, including presentation skills • PC literacy, including Microsoft Office products • Demonstrated commitment to timely reporting • Strong customer service skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Attention to detail and accuracy • Good time management and organizational skills • Ability to work independently or in a team environment • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
