• Investigate insurance major loss claims for insurers or third parties • Negotiate settlement of claims to the satisfaction of all parties • Conduct thorough investigations, interviewing and communicating with insured, claimants, and witnesses • Maintain accurate records and manage billing for assigned files • Assist with collection of accounts receivables and local marketing of the branch • Develop new business opportunities and maintain working relationships with clients
• Post-secondary education; insurance related • CIP Designation or equivalent • Minimum 15 years adjusting experience with a minimum of three years adjusting primarily commercial losses • Strong oral and written communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office products • Must be licensed or have the ability to obtain a provisional license
